We are urgently looking for someone with experience in analysing CPRD and HES data to join our team temporarily (minimum 1 month, with the exact duration to be confirmed at a later date) to support an ongoing Burden of Disease study. The outcomes of interest are not complex (e.g. incidence and prevalence of comorbidities, costs and resource use associated with comorbidities, overall healthcare utilisation, etc.) but due to unforeseen delays in receiving the data, we have extremely tight timelines to turn around the first set of analyses. Therefore, the ideal candidate should be confident in programming independently based on information in the protocol and data analysis plan. You will work as part of a team of programmers; each analysis will be programmed by two individuals independently for quality control.
Our internship opportunities are ideal for current PhD students, recent graduates, post-doc researchers or academics in the sciences who are seeking to gain an insight into life at a fast-growing healthcare consultancy. This opportunity will provide you with direct and hands-on experience with an exciting and fast-moving project with our Real-World Evidence division.
The salary for this role is 35,000 to 45,000 per annum (pro-rata) depending on previous experience.
