Our internal communications team has played an important role in keeping our people connected with what is happening at Camelot by actively working on creating amazing employee experiences which ensure our people give it their all at work.


This is a maternity cover role for 12 months, you’ll be working in a wider team of 5 delivering everything from everyday communications to events and initiatives focused across our people experience journey.

How you'll make a difference

You’ll join an award-winning team to continue the fabulous work they have done to deliver fantastic communications, events and support to the organisation. You’ll bring experience, creativity and problem-solving to how we land key messages and events. The bar has been set incredibly high coming out of the pandemic and you’ll be able to bring an approach that works for us and ultimately be seen as someone who will deliver what they say.

What you'll bring to the table

  • You will be able to bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in a previous internal communications role.
  • You’re an eye catching copywriter, you can write and tell a compelling story.
  • You have a creative mind and the ability to take complex information and turn it into content that can be easily consumed.
  • Teamworking ethic is incredibly important, the team works collaboratively as one, so you’ll be able to contribute to the group's ideas as well as work on your own projects.
  • The ability to plan and deliver. The key ingredient to the team's success is having robust plans which are forward-thinking and having the time to deliver what you set out to do.
  • Experience in using work tools like Interact (our intranet provider) and other tools like Canva and Poppulo would be a massive plus.
  • Previous experience in organising and facilitating events both on a small and large scale (the team is responsible for hosting events from workshops to company cascades as well as parties amp; celebratory events).
  • Experience in partnering with business areas and building meaningful relationships is another ingredient of why the team has been so successful over the years.
  • You have relentless passion and energy in getting things done right, and at pace.
