- To perform and develop the Engineering Bill Of Materials function within Cranfield Aerospace Solutions Ltd
- To create/update and manage the FRESSON 1a and 1b Product Breakdown Structures (PBSs)
- To create/update and manage the FRESSON 1a and 1b Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOMs)
- To devise, implement and improve interim processes and procedures for CAeS management of PBSs
- To devise, implement and improve interim processes and procedures for CAeS management of EBOMs, including their use by engineers, project managers and supply chain specialists
- To support the future transition of PBSs and EBOMs to Product Data Management or Product Lifecyle Management (PDM/PLM)
Requirements
- Must be:
- Experienced and skilled EBOM Coordinator, from an aerospace, engineering Ramp;D, motorsport or low-volume automotive background
- Experienced in the creation, management and use of EBOMs in both Excel and PDM/PLM systems
- Able to create, coordinate and maintain accurate and complete EBOMs for engineering Ramp;D and product development projects, drawing data from design engineering
- Able to collaborate with design engineering, certification, project management and supply chain staff, to create, coordinate, manage and use EBOMs
- Personal qualities: exceptional attention to detail, systematic and logical approach, open to learning, adaptable; good interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills
- Ideally would also have some of the following:
- Familiar with typical aerospace components and materials
- Able to interpret engineering drawings
- Degree-qualified (in a relevant engineering or supply chain subject
