The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Logistics team supporting a rapidly growing business. You will be a key individual responsible for ensuring Onto customers always receive a reliable, quality, bespoke delivery and collection service. You will be working as part of a critical business team that is passionate about providing a customer-focused, high-quality Logistics operation.
Please note: You will be required to work 5 days per week, including Saturdays. Contract hours are 10:30am - 7pm (Saturdays 8am - 4:30pm).
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the planning, organisation, monitoring and quality control of our customer delivery and collections.
- Working closely with our driver network to ensure that all quality and compliance requirements are met.
- Real-time monitoring of movements, quickly reacting to any events that may delay deliveries.
- Proactively notifying customers on changes to their planned delivery or collection.
- Developing new logistics processes and services to find the most efficient way to deliver Electric Vehicles to our customers as the company grows.
- Managing the collection of vehicles from problematic customers using our professional recovery suppliers.
Ideally we’re looking for:
- High proficiency on Microsoft Excel
- Passionate about delivering a bespoke logistics operation that puts the customer experience at the heart of everything that we do
- Previous experience in managing vehicle movements and managing driver movements would be beneficial
- Solution driven to ensure quickest resolution of delivery issues and efficient communication of solutions to customers
- A strong focus and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Enthusiastic about electric vehicles, knowledge of EV charging infrastructure would be beneficial
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible and well organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- High performer that is ready to join a fast-paced amp; dedicated team that steps up to challenges and performs best under pressure
