Panel Beater / Technician

A Panel Technician opportunity has come about due to an expansion within the Bodyshop so we need a driven and proven character who is able to deliver high quality work, exceptional standards at a productive rate.

The main tasks include:

· Carrying out inspections on bodywork and frames of vehicles to assess extent of damage

· Disassembling damaged vehicle parts

· Repairing scratches, dents and others damage to bodywork and replacing any parts that cannot be repaired

· Straightening and aligning car frames and unibodies

· Reassembling vehicle body parts and accessories

· Replacing or repairing windows, car interiors and exterior trim

· Filling and sanding bodywork

· Carrying out painting in booth oven

· Performing final finishing and polishing

About you:

· ATA Panel Beater Qualification (or equivalent) desirable, but not essential.

· Experience in a Bodyshop environment.

· Be self-driven and motivated to hit all targets set

· Have great organisational and planning skills

· Work well under pressure

· Physical fitness and stamina

· Ability to work as part of a team
