Q Analysts (A Qualitest Company) are looking for a Test Analyst who is experienced with accessibility testing for a project with one of its Clients who are leading organisation in the Virtual Reality work spaces. The client is revolutionising the remote working norm by merging it with virtual reality. We are looking for someone with accessibility testing skills on PC, mobile or standalone devices preferably Android based and Web. Role focuses on manual testing of the functionality for our Client's current and future products.
This is a 40 hour per week role based in London.
Responsibilities include:
- Testing VR in software and devices
- Execute test cases
- Create new and edit existing test cases
- Raise new bugs and review bug reports from other team members
- Bug fix verification
- End to end testing from hardware to software
- Requirement analysis
- Assisting junior team members
- Assisting other teams with their testing during downtime
- Reporting to the test lead and CSM
Requirements
- Testing expertise with mobile (iOS amp; Android), PC (Mac amp; Windows) and Web applications and devices
- Experience with a commonly used Software Test Management System such as Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail, etc.
- Experience testing against the WCAG guidelines
- Excellent deductive reasoning and attention to detail
- Clear, accurate and succinct verbal and written communication
- Understanding of the software development process
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and learn new tools and technologies
- Working both independently and as part of a team and be able to contribute positively to the entire team
- Initiative to improve quality and investigate any issues further
- Experience installing and uninstalling using ADB commands preferred but not required
Education/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a QA or related role
