Job Description

Our vision is to deliver a responsible, sustainable energy future by supporting clients through the Energy Transition and meeting Net Zero targets.

Energy consultancy Xodus is an industry-leading provider of low-carbon energy such as hydrogen, offshore wind and decarbonisation of existing hydrocarbon sector projects and assets. Our offerings cross a wide range of challenging and growing sectors where the Technical Safety amp; Risk division provides vital service in managing risk in all its forms.

As a division, Technical Safety amp; Risk (TSR) houses a broad spectrum of skills and specialisms centred around risk. We provide both engineering design for specific safety and reliability provisions and equipment, and risk and reliability studies and management encompassing the whole of the engineered environment. Our focus is on providing intelligent solutions to client problems that leverage our depth of experience in risk management practice and implementation. We differ from occupational HSE in working on major accident hazards and reliability problems.

TSR engineers and consultants work across the entire spread of project types from early concept risk identification through more detailed design studies informing safety case development, to providing in-service support through digilatisation and assessment of reliability information. We house a number of specialist streams headed by industry leading technical authorities, covering areas such as Human Factors, Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM), risk identification workshops, Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) methodologies including dropped object, consequence assessment and weather-based operations amp; maintenance modelling.

Experiencing increasing demand from existing and new clients, we are seeking talented, motivated professionals to supplement our capabilities and help scope, develop and deliver projects. This person will bring new experience, knowledge and perspective to our team, reinforcing (and potentially expanding) existing skill-sets and capabilities.
