The role

We are looking for experienced and adaptable technical business analysts who work out the best way to help clients and users achieve their goals through working with teams to define, improve and deliver innovative digital and IT products and services. At Farsight Consulting we promote multidisciplinary, ‘T shaped’ skillsets in our people and provide coaching and upskilling through a dedicated coaching model and skills academy. Responsibilities
- Eliciting, defining and managing user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria on Agile projects across GDS phases from Discovery through to Public Beta that meet and solve complex problems, meet client objectives and add value.
- Support Product Owners and Delivery Managers in defining areas to add value, developing roadmaps, prioritising features that deliver value effectively. Managing stakeholders by providing detailed information and visual models on the solution landscape and offering proposed options and approaches backed by analysis,
- Investigating and documenting the data landscape so that opportunities to share and leverage existing and new data are taken that help inform business rule definition and enhance delivery outcomes, and enable improvements to services in later iterations.
- Interpreting and discussing complex solution designs with Solution Architects and Technical Leads, and in turn effectively communicate their benefits and drawbacks to business stakeholders and delivery teams to enable well-informed decision making.
- Sharing your knowledge and supporting more junior members of the team to develop.

Requirements
We’ll assess the following skills during the application process:
- Agile Requirements Engineering. You’ll have a breadth of experience in technical business analysis and have applied this in multiple stages of the project lifecycle in service or software delivery. You can apply and adapt these pragmatically and innovatively to meet the needs of a team and client. You’ll apply your Agile requirements engineering expertise, curiosity and creativity to interesting and complex GDS projects and problems working with technical teams and stakeholders.
