About the team
The treasury team sits within the Capital Markets amp; Treasury division at LendInvest and deals with cash and liquidity management, asset-liability management, financial risk management, loan allocation, hedging and funding line reporting. This is a function that we are looking to expand as LendInvest broadens its range of lending products.
About the role:
You will be required to analyse financial data, identify potential risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management to optimise the company's financial position. This role would be suitable for someone looking to take their next step in a career in treasury or capital markets, or a recent graduate looking to apply their theoretical understanding.
Key duties:
- Analyse property loan portfolios that sit in a variety of funding sources
- Support short-term and long-term forecast models in preparation for capital market transactions
- Produce reports for the product committees and ALCO
- Work closely with the Capital Markets team on capital allocation, scenario modelling and lending margin analysis
- Processing payments, submitting funding requests, sale notices and peform portfolio management tasks as required
About you:
- Detail oriented with strong organisational skills
- A proven ability to quickly absorb quantitative and qualitative information
- Technically minded with strong Excel skills (working knowledge of logical functions, statistical analysis; VBA/Macro experience a plus)
- Experience in financial analysis within a lender, bank or accountancy/professional services environment is advantageous
- Understanding of mortgages, hedging, treasury and capital markets would be a plus
