Schedule: Monday to Friday - no weekend working

We are looking for a motivated, bright, conscientious, and organised Production Assembly Technician to join the Production team in Particle Works, reporting to the Production Manager. The ideal candidate will have a like-minded strong personal attitude to manufacturing the best possible products.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Electro-Mechanical assembly of scientific instrumentation
- Electrical safety testing and pressure testing
- Carrying out factory acceptance tests during and after the assembly process
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults on products during the assembly process
- Reporting issues to the Manufacturing Engineering Team to ensure our products are continuously improved
Requirements
The ideal candidate will need to have:
- Experience of working in a highly disciplined manufacturing environment, preferably in assembling scientific instruments
- An excellent level of dexterity as our assembly involves using hand tools
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to read and work from engineering drawings and locked-down work instructions
- A willingness to learn, be highly motivated and enthusiastic
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills
