We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time in house AV Technician to join the AV team of Tape London.
Tape London is an exclusive Mayfair venue with regular club nights, performances, private hires, live music showcase and events. The venue has state of the art lighting and video facilities and its own in house, world class, recording studio.
We are looking for a full time in house AV Technician to help maintain our excellent standards and work alongside our existing team and Production Manager. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in lighting, audio, video and IT.
We are a production heavy venue during our club nights with shows and performances throughout operating hours and during the week for rehearsals, maintenance and upgrades. It’s very fast paced and changes quickly, so multitasking and being able to deal with last second changes efficiently is a must.
As a Tape AV Technician you will be working on a range of events and projects. You will will assist with the day-to-day technical delivery and operation of different events such as Nightclub Nights, DJ set ups, product launches, charity events, live performances and events as well as organising, maintaining the AV within the Venue.
Salary Negotiable on Experience.
Requirements
48 Hours a Week (Mix of Days and Nights)
Have a minimum 2 to 3 years experience in the set up and operation of audio and AV equipment.
Are highly organised with the ability to multitask and excellent team players.
Able patch, programme and operate lighting and visuals. (Avolites / GrandMA / Madrix / Showcad / Resolume)
Have an understanding of FOH and monitor audio set-ups.
Knowledge in rigging and lighting setups.
Willing to learn new skills.
Are able to help run events liaising with the Production Manager and Operations Team.
Are professional and able to demonstrate an understanding of how to provide a high level of service in a fast-paced environment
Are passionate about events / nightclubs and technology in equal measures.
Are proficient with Digico Digital mixers, Pioneer DJ equipment and Avolites lighting consoles
Great attention to detail.
Knowledgeable in IT.
