Group Management Accountant - Interim
Based: High Wycombe with hybrid working available
Term: Full-Time, Interim
Salary: Negotiable
The Role:
We are looking for an interim Management Accountant to join our Group Finance team. You will be working in the Group team managing the Group reporting database, responsible for monthly consolidations and ad hoc analysis. This Fixed Term Contract is expected to last until September 2023 and there is the potential for a permanent position.
Duties will include:
- Month end accounting and reporting for PLC entity variance analysis and reporting on results to CFO and Group FC
- Overheads forecasting for PLC entity
- PLC Bank reconciliations
- Management of group recharges including management fees and group loan interest
- Weekly cash reporting
- Monthly intercompany balance reconciliations
- Support with external half year and year end reporting
- Provision of relevant supporting data and schedules to auditors
- Provision of tax information to outsourced tax team
- Accounting for share based payments
- Ad hoc support for Group Finance projects
- Raising and receipting Purchase Orders
Skills and experience required:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Proven experience as a management accountant, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of maintaining and managing Finance systems, including General ledger systems and control procedures. Experience of Netsuite ERP desirable
- Experience with reporting consolidation systems Board desirable
- Advanced Excel skill, with excellent attention to detail
- Experience of streamlining accounting processes, with strong attention to detail
- A self-starter who is constantly looking to improvement
- Excellent communicator and experience in stakeholder management
- Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
- Experience in an international group
- Self-motivated and confident managing workload
