The Company:

Launched in 2008, the company has rapidly become the top online retailer of contact lenses in the UK and is now in an exciting phase of its development. We are currently looking for an experienced, organised and proactive Warehouse Shift Manager to join our distribution / warehouse team on a full-time basis.
The Role:
You will be joining Lenstore as a Warehouse Shift Manager; a critical position in the Operations Team. You will be working in a medium/large warehouse. The major part of your role will be to plan, lead and motivate the team to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, to lead, develop and engage with the team to create a positive working environment, a place where ideas are welcomed and team can work productively and happily
Day-to-day your role will involve:
- To plan, lead and motivate the Warehouse team to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Lead, develop and engage with the team to create a positive working environment, a place where ideas are welcomed and team can work productively and happily.
- To achieve daily fulfilment of all customer orders for their planned promise delivery date.
- To plan workload of the team, covering all required shifts to meet demand and plan for events or peak times to maintain fulfilment results.
- Communicate all relevant information regularly to the team, including daily targets, goals and previous performance results.
- To support in maintaining a clean, tidy and Hamp;S compliant warehouse environment.
- Hold regular reviews of individual team performance to highlight training needs and identify minimum expectations compliance and provide ongoing support and training.
- Continually maintain accurate payroll and HR information for the team.
- Suggest ideas to improve processes, productivities and output within the warehouse team.
- Work with the warehouse management team to create a fun, friendly and positive environment for all team members.
- Be an ambassador of the Lenstore values and culture.
The Candidate:
We are looking for hard-working, efficient and friendly Warehouse Shift Manager with 2+ years of proven experience in managing a Team in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours:
5 days per week ( Week Ends on Rotation)
37.5 hours per week.
The Application Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an initial telephone interview, and, if successful at this stage, an interview with the Head of the Department. Only applicants who can demonstrate they have the right to work in the UK will be considered.
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven experience in Managing a Team
- Excellent punctuality
- Strong personal organizational skills
- English Language (Fluent Level)
- Experienced computer and internet user
- Willingness to help with all aspects of the business
