Project Manager - Technology Operations

Job Description
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Technology team at Starling. Working as part of our Projects team, you will be responsible for the implementation of a range of projects across our Technology and Operations teams, working with internal stakeholders to oversee the implementation of key changes across Starling. You should have experience managing projects of varying complexity.
We're looking for someone who thrives delivering in a flexible environment and previous experience working in Financial Services would be an advantage.
Requirements
As a Project Manager at Starling you can expect to be involved in:
- Overall management and co-ordination of a number of key projects across different areas of the bank. Drive projects forward by identifying and managing dependencies and interfaces between projects and other business initiatives
- Owning relationships with external parties such as vendors and payment schemes. Ensure service is provided to a high standard and make recommendations to improve and streamline processes and interactions.
- Working with technology and operations teams to transition project outcomes to ‘business as usual’ processes by monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
Ideally you will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication with experience of communicating to senior leadership and third parties
- 3+ years experience managing projects end-to-end
- Experience working with or within technology teams
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills ability to solve problems creatively
- A ‘hands on’ attitude to project delivery
- The ability to quickly understand a new subject matter, with the confidence to get up to speed with the technical or banking details of a problem
- An understanding of UK Consumer and/or SME Banking
