We are looking for a passionate and driven Scrum Master to work with one of our client-side Scrum Teams in the water sector.
You will foster a transparent environment where teams are empowered to produce usable increments each sprint, inspect the results and adjust for future sprints based on their observations.
Accountabilities:
- Establish Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide
- Help everyone understand Scrum theory and practice, both within the Scrum Team and the organization
- Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality
- Help the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done
- Cause the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress
- Enable the Scrum Team to improve its practices, within the Scrum framework
- Ensure that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the Timebox
- Help find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
- Help the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
- Help establish empirical product planning for a complex environment
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed
- Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams
Requirements
- An Agile mindset is a must
- An in-depth understanding of Scrum is a must
- Strong people skills are a must
- Previous experience working as a Scrum Master
