Accountable to the Lead Product Designer

Are you a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) with a passion for technology and people, who wants to create amazing products? This could be the contract for you!
The ideal candidate will be someone who has deep product design expertise across sites and apps with a strong customer focus, driven by data. We work hard, evolve fast and have fun doing it, so need someone who is excited to be part of a small and fast-paced agile product team solving customer problems and designing meaningful experiences.

You'll be joining Go City at an exciting time of growth where you will work with the wider design team to influence and ensure a digital mindset is embedded into the core of the business and you’ll have a true impact and influence on shaping customer experiences from start to finish.

• Play a key role in exploring, refining, and delivering production-ready designs
• Design user flows and prototypes to visualise business innovations and validate user needs
• Contribute to our ever-growing design system
• Work closely with our Product Design Lead to ensure explorations and design execution meets brand and business goals
• Meet routinely with our Product Design Lead to ensure projects and deliverables meet quarterly OKRs and product vision
• Contributing to high-level design strategy and framing product implementation by asking the right questions, prioritising ruthlessly, and solving for distinct business needs
• Preparing hypotheses for user research, and promoting engagement in user research sessions
• Advocating for, maintaining, and roadmapping the evolution of design systems
• Ensuring lockstep communication with collaborators who span geographies, time zones, product development phases, and beyond
• Collaborating with teams to test variants and validate hypothesis/solutions
• Educate non-specialist stakeholders through the design process, keeping them updated and on board with what the organisation wants to achieve
• Develop strategies and work with stakeholders to ensure that the experiences meet the needs of the user as well as meeting the business objectives.
• Build empathy for day-to-day experience of the user base, pain points and opportunities to improve experiences. Work as part of a team which defines product solutions.
• Contribute to new ways of thinking and alignment workshops, identify what success looks like with a varied audience of stakeholders including developers.
• Supporting CRO optimisations on the customer facing website contributing to discovery workshops and identifying ways to improve conversion rates
• Delivering new app features and experiences
• Working on design system updates and testing new components to be released
• Creating best in class dashboards and perfecting user journeys with internal stakeholders
• Optimising interfaces and back-end services to improve customer and partner experiences

• 5+ years of product design experience UX/UI in digital products across App and Web
• A well-rounded portfolio showcasing data driven design and problem solving
• Experience designing a product from concept to prototype and implementation/testing
• Strongly commercial, understanding customer value and how to drive performance
• Broad skills in qualitative research and user-centric design
• Experience of lean principles and working with software engineering teams using agile development
• Practiced in the use of multi-variate testing in optimising products
• Experience with the tools of the trade such as Ah
