Job Description
Location: We offer a hybrid working model (UK only) where you will have the flexibility to work from home but will also be required to work from our Cambridge studio on a weekly basis.
Level: Senior to Expert (Lead) level

Your Role:
- You will be part of a small development team working on Ninja Theory’s next IP.
- You and the rest of the team will be responsible for creating fully immersive and photorealistic environments within in Unreal Engine 5.
- You will primarily be working on modern architectural environments with a mix of some organic exteriors but with a heavy emphasis on realism and believability.
- You will be responsible for creating assets to an extremely high level of fidelity to push the quality of next generation game development. Attention to detail is paramount.
- You will be expected to work with procedurally based systems to enable the small team to produce content to a very high quality, efficiently.
- You will be involved in the full range of environment art tasks, from conception to completion.
- You will be expected to communicate effectively throughout the studio across all other disciplines and seniorities, engage openly about your work and present to others when necessary.

Your Skill:
Essential:
- You have a deep understanding of Unreal Engine 5.
- You have experience in creating photo realistic environments to an extremely high standard.
- You have strong knowledge of all stages of digital content creation, including materials.
- You have knowledge of procedurally based content creation.
- You have a great ability to think creatively and overcome technical challenges.
- You are a great communicator and collaborator.
- You have very strong organisational skills.
Desirable:
- You have some experience lighting realtime game environments.
- You have some experience with scripting languages.
Your Experience:
Essential:
- You have shipped at least one AAA game.
- You have managed and mentored other team members.
- You can work independently as well as part of a team.
- You have experience in generating work from the ground up, including reference gathering and concepting.
- You are experienced in profiling and optimising game content to work on current generation consoles.
