Job Summary:

Are you looking to combine your passion of audit amp; compliance, data protection, privacy and risk management, with your love for gaming?

Then look no further than this exciting new opportunity to join the Square Enix family as our Privacy Audit amp; Compliance Manager based in the London Office. In this role, you’ll be working closely with key stakeholders to design, implement, deliver, and maintain a companywide internal and external privacy audit amp; compliance program.

You’ll also be helping the Privacy Team to continue to build maturity and drive a culture of risk, data protection and privacy awareness across our global teams and offices.

Requirements

Key Deliverables:
  • Advise the business on best practices and standards in audit amp; compliance.
  • Design, implement, deliver and maintain a companywide internal and external audit amp; compliance process based on the NIST Privacy and ISO 27701 frameworks.
  • Carry out general privacy and risk compliance audits across the organisation and report findings back to the Data Protection Officer and Privacy team, including:
  • Regular compliance reviews of websites. (Cookies, consent, etc.)

    Regular marketing privacy compliance reviews.

    In-game privacy notification and consent reviews

    Internal and external system privacy reviews, e.g., to assess rights requests, data minimisation and data retention etc.

  • Audit against Square Enix governance and approved procedures across company processing activities.
  • Work with the Privacy Risk Senior Manager to verify that the operationalisation of risk assessment mitigating controls have been successfully implemented.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to carry out data protection impact assessments across the business.
  • Work with and influence key stakeholders across the business to proactively help them understand relevant controls and procedures.
  • Design, implement and deliver compliance related training for the wider business.

  • Knowledge amp; Experience:

    Essential:

  • Audit / compliance management experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Data Protection and Privacy laws.
  • A sound understanding of risk and project management.
  • Experienced in designing, implementing, and delivering companywide internal and external compliance processes and policies.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into real life scenarios.
  • Team player who thrives on proactively building and maintaining stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Effective problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Ability to assess and interpret data and present findings to varying levels of stakeholders.
  • Possess outstanding organizational and communication skills.
  • A high level of discretion, confidentiality, and diplomacy.
  • A natural empathiser who understands the benefits of putting people first.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Desirable:

  • Experience in auditing against NIST Privacy Framework.
  • Experienced in auditing against ISO 27701.
  • CIPP qualification or equivalent. (Professional development will be provided for the right candidate).
  • Risk qualification (IRM or similar).
  • Audit / Compliance qualification e.g. CMIIA qualified.
