The Team

The newly formed Digital team’s aim is to make life radically easier for small business owners. The team is working on new projects to help even more customers save money and to enable future growth for Bionic. The Team is pivotal to the Bionic organisation.

The team contains Software Engineers, QA and Product resources to ensure the successful delivery of projects, small improvements and continuous technical essentials to the platform. You will also be working closely with the Salesforce Platform Team to ensure the use of best practices, maintain code documentation and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.

The Role

The Salesforce Developer will be a member of a small, cross functional, Agile team of Developers and QAs who maintain and grow Digital platform using a number of tools including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Docusign.You will be developing technical solutions that solve business requirements and integrating the Salesforce platform with other enterprise applications. You will work closely with the other members of the Digital Team and the Salesforce Platform Team to implement documented solutions that cannot be addressed by standard functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • · Design and develop Salesforce-based applications, customisations, and enhancements· Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve bugs/errors· Follow established Salesforce development standards and best practices· Stay current on Force.com technology changes and Salesforce releases· Salesforce Development including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, REST and SOAP API and Lightning Components· Integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems, specifically using Platform Events.· Salesforce configuration, workflows, object customization, and security models· Salesforce sandbox management and deployment best practices· Provide expert knowledge and guidance to the Digital technical lead to enable them to effectively design and implement features that are scalable and adhere to Salesforce best practices.

Requirements

  • Desired Skills and Experience· Proven experience with Github or similar versioning systems and Gearset or similar development tools is essential.· Experience with one or more of the following Salesforce Apex and front-end development (Aura and Web Components), Migration tools, REST APIs, SQL/SOQL.· Preferred certifications include Platform App Builder amp; Platform Developer 1.· Considerable experience working on large scale Sales and Service Cloud implementations.· Understanding of Docusign, particularly workflow development using Spring CM.· Experience with CTI integration and Salesforce Maps preferable.· Experience with integration between Salesforce and third parties including using platform events.· Excellent communication skills including working in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and team-oriented work environment following agile practices.· Energy and self-motivation with high productivity, creative problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize
