With an academic background in Development Economics, I have been able to build a
foundation in understanding the impact various organisations have on the economy,
including their strategic goals which fuelled my curiosity during these early stages.
While managing the Business Development team for Mio Conferencing Solutions, I have
been able to develop a track record of collecting and analysing client/ market data, client
presentations and significant global travel to technology exhibitions and exceeding sales
targets.
I am a self-starter and motivated individual who takes pride in taking initiative and meeting
targets and setting goals, but also thrive on working with people to utilise their skills to
achieve the collective goal. I also have several years of business development experience
with a history of managing several teams over the course of my career.
In a quest for further development, I completed my Master in Business Administration at
the UEA. This has given me further understanding and practical experience into leadership,
operation, process strategy marketing, and management consulting for various international
organisations, business forecasting and financial analysis, further equipping me for this role.
There are several reasons why I would be a perfect fit for this position. Firstly, this is a role I
know I will find enjoyable, but adequately challenging because I have already worked in
similar positions in the past. My qualifications and experience have further equipped me
with the technical skills necessary for this role and the ability to deliver consultative services
to clients and prospects across different sectors.
