Job Description

Job title:Regional Administrator

Contract type: Parttime (28 hours a week), permanent contract

Location:Liverpool or Market Harborough, depending on the candidate

Salary:Grade 3, 17,000 per annum (pro rata for 28 hours). Please note, for internal applicants the salary will be reflected by pay and award policy

Working arrangements: 28 hours per week. Exact working patternto be agreed with the Line Manager

You will play a vital role in supporting the RCP regional team in the delivery of their regional and national event programme as well as providing exceptional administrative support to the wider department and outstanding service and support to our members, fellows and key stakeholders. This role would suit someone who has good administration skills and is keen to develop their skillset.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be experienced at working in office administration/project support
  • Enjoy communicating with a range of individuals, developing good working relationships
  • Be confident using the Microsoft Office suite and motivated to enhance other digital skills
  • Be exceptionally organised.

About the role

As administrator, you will make an impact every day by:

  • Providing administration forRCP regional events, including regional and national conferences (virtual and face to face), taking pride in attention to detail and providing first-class customer-service
  • Be responsible for handling membership data able to maintain accurate records, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Provide general administration support to the regional team as required.

You will need outstanding organisational skills and the ability to liaise and communicate confidently with a range of people. Using initiative and being able to work flexibly as a member of a busy team are also essential qualities.
